Midhurst Freemasons Donate More than £9,000 to Good Causes
Share
Midhurst Freemasons demonstrated their commitment to community support by donating over £9,000 to various local charitable organizations during a white table event held last week.
The gathering, which took place on March 18, featured the presentation of cheques to several worthy recipients including Sage House, Stonepillow, and Easebourne Primary School, among others.
Easebourne Primary School received a donation of £495 as part of the initiative. In total, eight local causes benefited from the charitable effort, with donations amounting to £9,330. The funds were sourced from contributions made to the Craft Lodge, supplemented by grants from both the Chapter Lodge and Mark Lodge.
In addition to the financial presentations, attendees—including Freemason Lodge members and their families—participated in an educational demonstration conducted by Nick Feltimo. A member of both the St. Johns Ambulance Brigade and the St. Ninian Lodge, Feltimo provided instruction on the proper use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) equipment.
The Midhurst Freemasons Lodge continues its tradition as a prominent and historic organization within the community. They welcome inquiries from prospective members whose values align with their own. Those interested in learning more about the lodge or in becoming a Freemason are encouraged to contact l4460midhurstsec@gmail.com for further information.
