San Dimas Masonic Lodge, Rotary Will Collect Food and More to Benefit Military Families

On Saturday, Sept. 30, a charitable event aimed at gathering essential items for the families of Marines stationed at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps base is scheduled in San Dimas.

This initiative is a joint effort by the San Dimas Rotary Foundation and San Dimas Masonic Lodge.

The collection will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 220 N. Monte Vista Ave.

The organizers are seeking donations of a variety of items including cereals, infant necessities, canned foods, personal hygiene products, and more.

The collected items will be distributed through the Pelican Pantry, operated by the Armed Services YMCA, ensuring they reach the military families in need.

This upcoming event marks the second of its kind, following a successful drive organized in March. Contributions can also be made monetarily, addressed to the San Dimas Rotary Foundation.
