The Audley Lodge on Wellington Road in Newport will be open to the public for the first time. Members of the society will be on hand to answer any questions people might have about the society. It follows a similar event at the Salopian Lodge of Charity in Shrewsbury, which was held in September.
The building, which dates back to 1841, is used to raise funds for charities including Severn Hospice and Newport Food Bank. This month the lodge will be presenting a cheque for £2,500 to East Shropshire Talking Newspaper, raised by a 200-mile cycle ride around the county.
