The Freemasons of Bucks County are set to uphold their annual tradition of celebrating Memorial Day. The Doylestown Lodge No. 245, situated at 55 East Main Street in Doylestown, will host a Sausage and Pancake Breakfast on Memorial Day, May 29, from 7 AM to 12 PM. The event is open to all, with adults charged $8, children under 10 at $3, and those under six years old eating for free.
As per the custom, the Lodge will not only host the breakfast event but also participate in the Doylestown Memorial Day Parade, marking the town’s 155th Memorial Day celebration. The breakfast menu includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice, among other items.
The proceeds from this event, along with any other donations, will be directed towards the Help For the Heroes Program. Doylestown Lodge No. 245, a hub for York Rite Freemasonry since its inception in 1850, is one of the largest and most active fraternal lodges in Pennsylvania, boasting over 500 members.
