The South West Blood Bikes have been given a £1,500 cash boost by Devon Freemasons. The money is raised through the Wake Fund, a trust conceived by William Alexander Kneel. He was the Devonshire Provincial Grand Master from 1970 to 1984 and owner of Kneels laundry and dry cleaners. The first disbursement was £900,000 in 2001 and today the fund has grown to £2.3 million.
