The Freemasons of Devonshire have pledged a donation of £12,966 to the Unite Carers charity in Mid Devon, to be distributed over the next three years.
Unite Carers, stationed in Tiverton, has been operational since 2003, dedicating its services to unpaid carers across various age groups.
The charity is renowned for offering a plethora of services including professional advice, complimentary counseling, technological assistance, and more, all made possible by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Unite Carers is also known for organizing monthly memory cafés catering to dementia patients and their caregivers and special outdoor groups tailored for children with additional needs.
The charity, which currently aids over 325 carers with the help of 57 volunteers, is financially sustained through grants and generous private contributions.
