There was a fire at a masonic lodge in Ellington on Saturday morning. A passerby called 911 after seeing smoke coming from below a door.
Firefighters arrived and found a working fire, which they were able to contain at the site of origin.
The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported. The extent of any damage is unknown. An investigation is underway.
